St. Joseph Health, Town partnering to offer screenings

A local medical center and the Town are joining forces this weekend to offer free local heart screenings.
In celebration of Heart Month, St. Joseph Health, St. Mary is offering a free life health assessment at the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department on Saturday. The assessment includes a cholesterol panel blood test, glucose blood test, blood pressure test, body mass index and waist circumference measurement, according to a news release.
To schedule a free screening, call 866-636-4445, ask for a Feb. 15 appointment and mention code SMCB001. Screenings will be held at the parks and recreation department building, 14955 Dale Evans Parkway.
