The Mojave Water Agency will host a mini-tour of its facilities from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on May 1. The agency is currently accepting advanced reservations for the tour as seating is limited.
Twice a year, the agency hosts the educational mini-tour, designed to acquaint and inform the community about the vital role it serves as the Victor Valley region’s manager of water resources, according to a news release.
The tour involves a visit to some of the field sites, providing a first-hand perspective of how they operate the facilities and the role MWA plays in maintaining economic vitality in the Victor Valley region.
Residents who would like to make reservations for the tour should contact Gloria Golike at 760-946-7001 or GGolike@MojaveWater.org. The deadline to register is April 14. Once initial seats are filled, organizers will establish a waiting list.
