With the help of the Mojave Samoan Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 18-year-old Phil Timoteo made and donated 30 blankets to St. Joseph Health, St. Mary to complete his Eagle Scout badge. The blankets were given to the hospital's Community Health Department and will be used to give to new mothers and patients to keep them warm. Timoteo, who will be heading to UCLA in the fall, is pictured below with his mother and sister.
