Prepare to be entertained as the Historic Apple Valley Inn Room is beginning a new musical series from April through September to bring guests top notch live entertainment for all to enjoy.
The Inn Room Live Music Series, which kicks off Saturday, will consist of various performers from around the area as they entertain High Desert residents at the bed and breakfast inn as the historic lodge will be recreated for a unique musical experience.
The series, where one ticket will allow guests entry for each performance, will consist of live and floor entertainment, food, a cocktail lounge, vendors and surprises and fun all evening long. Each concert is a ticketed event, which utilizes the Inn’s main lobby/foyer as a vendor and exhibit hall.
Show producer for M-vention Productions Maggie Vee said the series will take place for six months as a different act is scheduled to perform each month.
Vee said she and her team are excited to bring about this new experience to the High Desert.
“I think what’s intriguing about the Inn is that a lot of people, mostly locals from out of town, know more about things that are right under our noses and interested in history than those of us who live here,” Vee said. “We hope for this series to be like a vintage throw back to the day nightclubs were an all inclusive experience and guests are welcome to dress as comfortably or fancy as they please.”
Vee said the series will also include a VIP section where guests will be treated to a private mixologist with a special drink menu who will prepare and mix especially made drinks for each monthly experience.
For this series to have been possible, Vee said the Inn has received the help and support from various participants in the area in order to ensure those who attend have a great time and to experience something new.
“It takes a lot of people coming together to put events on like this. We wanted to bring something different and fun and entertaining (at an affordable price),” Vee said. “We do it because we love live music, we love to perform and we love our community.”
Scheduled to perform for the series are Ray Brooks & The Bluzmasters on Saturday, Soul Pattern Project on May 14, The Blue Henrys on June 25, Stone Stanley July 16, Sweet Jam Artist Showcase on August 13 and Alan Winkle Jazz All-Stars on Sept. 17.
Event door opens at 6 p.m., lounge door at 7 p.m., seating from 7 to 8 p.m. and the shows run from 8 to 10 p.m. at Historic Apple Valley Inn, 20601 Highway 18 in Apple Valley.
